The North Country Trail in Pictured Rocks National Park has splendid sandstone cliffs, beaches, waterfalls, sand dunes, inland lakes, deep forest, and wild shorelines!

Day 1 –
Meet at the hotel in Munising, MI (Hotel TBD)
We will meet at the hotel and get checked into our shared rooms. Two hikers per room. The guides schedule a meeting with each hiker to review equipment and food. Then off to a group dinner in town to get to know the crew.
Day 2 –
Hikers meet at the Miners Castle Trailhead at 7:15. Shuttle will pick us up at 8:05 and deliver us to Hurricane River trailhead.
Section: Hurricane River to Seven Mile Campsite
Hiking Distance: 6
Highlights: Hurricane river welcomes us to the trail. Then off to 12-Mile beach. A shorter hiking day allows for a ton of time to chill on the beach, have lunch and cool off with a swim in Lake Superior. Sunset and dinner also on the lake.
Day 3 –
Section: Seven Mile Campsite to Coves Campsite
Hiking Distance: 8 miles
Highlights: Start off the day with great views of the lake. We pass Pine Bluffs and stop at Beaver Creek for some fresh water. We end at Coves where we have dinner and sunset on the lake.
Day 4 –
Section: Coves Campsite to Mosquito Beach Campsite
Hiking Distance: 9 miles
Highlights: THIS IS THE DAY PEEPS! Up early to get some great shots of Spray Falls. Then the top of Spray Falls. YEP, the TOP of the falls. From there we hit so many epic spots I can’t name them all. But here are a few of the many. Chapel Rock, Battleship Row, Grand Portal Point, Rainbow Cove and Lover’s Leap before hitting camp at Mosquito Beach!
Day 5 –
Section: Mosquito Beach Campsite to Miners Castle
Hiking Distance: 5 miles
Highlights: Up for sunrise on Mosquito Beach. then on to Painted Coves, Spray Falls and Miners Beach. We end at the Iconic Miners Castle where we celebrate our adventure and SUCCESS!
